Learn how to gold leaf glass gild

Learn how to gild onto glass and create your own sign to take home with you.

 

In this one-on-one intense day course you will learn how to use genuine gold leaf, you will learn with 22ct gold on various pieces of glass.

 

You will learn how to water gild along with oil gild onto glass, along with tips and tricks on signwriting and painting onto glass, so that you can take what you’ve learnt and start to make your own gold leaf glass signs.

 

I learnt to glass gild over 5 years ago with a three day intense course, since then i’ve put into practice everything i’ve learnt. And now i’m going to be passing that knowledge onto you.

You will also learn:

• How to use signwriting enamels and brushes

• How to glass gild with gold leaf, using specialist techniques of verre églomisé

• How to add abalone shell into your design

• How to create a design

• How to transfer a design onto the glass

• All materials you will need

 

 

You will send me over a design you’ve drawn/created, i will prep this ready for your day with me. I will supply glass pieces for you to learn on, and then a framed piece of glass which you can put your own design onto and take away with you.

 

You will take away a list of everything you will need to get started at home, and you can also contact me after the course for any help.
